Financial aid, scholarships, grants, and awards are available for study abroad. 

Cost

Study abroad costs vary by program.  You can find costs posted on each program-specific webpage (left-hand menu for UCEAP or top menu for Quarter/Summer Abroad). 

Global Learning Funding

A variety of funding is available at the link above including, but not limited to: UC Davis Study Abroad Awards; The Gilman Scholarship; The Global Aggie Award for LGBTQIA+ Rights; Widening Circles Social Impact Program Travel Grants; and the Peter and Mario London Global Learning Innovation Award. Deadlines are typically between Feb. 15 and Mar. 15.

UC EAP Funding

UCEAP offers scholarships for their programs. Deadlines are typically between Feb. 15 and Mar. 15.

Financial Aid Estimators

Study Abroad Estimator

Click on the “Study Abroad Estimate Request” button on the Financial Aid & Scholarships for Study Abroad page and follow the steps. You will need to upload a copy of your program cost as part of your request. You can expect a reply within 7-10 business days.

Summer Abroad Estimator

The Summer Abroad Financial Aid Estimator includes all UC Davis Summer Abroad, and UC Davis Summer Abroad Internships programs. The Summer Abroad Financial Aid Estimator provides estimates for the following:

o   UC Grants
o   Federal Grants
o   Federal and University Loans for qualifying students
